I engaged Mandy from Little Green Thumb to create a planting plan for our newly renovated house in Haberfield.  I had some ideas and lofty ambitions, and being a decent size garden, I needed someone with expertise and creativity, to bring it all together.  Mandy delivered in spades and I would highly recommend her for anyone wishing to create a beautiful green space, big or small!  Her knowledge of plants, soil, environment and maintenance requirements meant that we now have a gorgeous garden we can relax in.

Mandy provided wonderful plant and design recommendations for our home, and we have been thrilled with our new garden that came to life under her supervision. Mandy is a great listener and highly attentive, able to turn our pretty broad and uninformed brief into a great garden for our home. 

The Annandale North Public School P&C was supported by Mandy Campbell from Little Green Thumb for two major projects: The rejuvenation of our "Urban Forest" and the addition of an "Outdoor Classroom". Mandy did an amazing job taking our old, run down Urban Forest and redesigning this into an inviting, safe and engaging area for the students at our school. This included a completely new plant layout, selecting hardy, child friendly plants suitable for the location, along with soil and mulch recommendations. Mandy was on site (and hands on) to oversee the work to create the new Urban Forest. Mandy moved on to design a native bush tucker garden for our new Outdoor Classroom, using a variety of indigenous plants. This also involved a lot of preparation work to ensure the soil would be suitable in our new garden beds.

Mandy has helped us transform our sad, dark garden into a beautiful open and light filled space where we actually want to spend time. Her expert knowledge of planting and ideas really helped us work out what we wanted from the space. Her practical approach to the redesign helped us plan and budget for the transformation at a very reasonable cost.

Mandy Campbell came recommended to me via a friend. I employed her for the purpose of bringing life to my rear garden, which is flooded with heat and bright sun. Not much of what I planted was surviving or making me feel happy, looking at it every day from my patio. Since Mandy's arrival I find the area greatly improved.  Mandy selected appropriate plants that seem to be thriving, flowering, hardy and successful. Without her advice and expertise my morning coffee would not be nearly so enjoyable!

My original brief to Mandy was to design and provide a planting list for a low maintenance native garden to replace an ugly lawn area at a house I was renovating in Palm Beach. I made a number of changes to the design including wanting a Japanese influence. The work slowly progressed and with Covid it was difficult for Mandy to visit as often as we would have liked. Twelve months on the garden is filling out and life is coming back to what was a dead area. Thank you Mandy.
